Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Franklin
Pediatric Psychologist
Dr. Franklin is a pediatric psychologist that specializes in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques to address adolescent mental health concerns. Through the Department of Adolescent Medicine, she sees patients with mood, anxiety and eating disorders. Dr. Franklin also serves as the bariatric surgery psychologist for the Bariatric Surgery Program at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands. Through this role, she conducts pre-surgical psychological evaluations and assists patients with interventions for Binge Eating Disorder. Her research interests include adolescent health risk prevention and intervention methods.
